I came to visit my husband for his graduation ceremony at Ft. Benning. We were looking for a nice place to have dinner and landed here. I cannot compliment the food and drinks enough, but the reason for our complete satisfaction was all thanks to our server, Kat. She was knowledgeable, sweet, and very friendly. She truly made our experience a memorable one and will truly be the reason we recommend this place to all our friends and family when they come to visit! Thank you so much Kat for making our first date night in 10 weeks such a memorable one. We will be back to see you again!!

I ordered the fried catfish with grits, and it did not disappoint! The catfish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly fried—not overdone, not undercooked. The gravy was rich and flavorful, complementing the creamy grits beautifully. My only suggestion would be to offer a smaller plate option, as the dish came with two large fillets, which was quite a generous portion. A one-fillet option would be perfect for those looking for something lighter. Great service.

We had a group of 14 dine here and the Millhouse did a great job of accommodating us. We had the whole back area to ourselves, which was really nice. Unfortunately, there were a lot of small issues throughout the night. The lighting was flickering and we had to ask for it to be adjusted and the back area was very hot compared to the rest of the restaurant. The good: The service was 10/10. I really appreciated how fun and attentive the staff was. The drinks were great and the server even recommended their brunch espresso martinis (over their regular ones) and they were phenomenal. We ordered 1 of almost every appetizer and they were pretty good. Most of the people enjoyed their entrees and some of the desserts as well. The bad: Our servers recommended the ribeye over any other cut of meat so a few of us ordered them. One of the ribeyes came out perfectly - thick cut and cooked to order. There were two of us that ordered medium ribeyes as well and they were charred, well done and looked unappetizing. When they asked if we wanted another steak, we were told that there were no more ribeyes and It seemed like the last two they served us were scraped together. For a $50 steak with no real sides with it, I would’ve expected a lot more. We also got 2 of each side for the table and the collard greens looked overcooked and tasted fishy. For dessert, one of the guests said the banana pudding tasted broken. For such an expensive tab, I was really hoping that the quality of the food would have matched our expectations.

Daje was amazing! I walked in later in the evening as the restaurant was closing but she still greeted me and I was able to order a drink. She is extremely personable, she is an amazing conversationalist, she gave incredible recommendations and she provided her personal favorite entrees! I highly recommend the Millhouse of City Mills!

What a beautiful restaurant, the character preserved from what the building used to be is incredible. Creates the atmosphere. Justin was our waiter and was very kind, and took good care of us. We ordered the Southern Pecan French toast. It was delicious but I do think the price was a little high for the two slices. We also didn’t have a single pecan in or on the dish for it being “southern pecan” toast.
